How to use this PDF page tool
Drop a PDF onto the box. A thumbnail of every page appears.
Rotate / delete / reorder tab
- ⟳ rotates a page 90° clockwise each click.
- ✕ removes a page.
- ← → move a page earlier or later.
- Download PDF saves the result. Reset restores the original order.
Split / extract tab
- Type a page list such as
1-3, 5, 8-and click Extract to one PDF. - Or click Split every page into its own PDF to get one file per page.
Everything runs in your browser using pdf.js for previews and pdf-lib for writing the new file. Your document is never uploaded.

Duplicates are ignored and numbers beyond the last page are dropped.
Common uses
- Send only what’s needed — extract the two relevant pages of a 40-page policy document.
- Fix a scan — delete blank pages, rotate the ones scanned sideways, reorder pages fed in the wrong sequence.
- Split a batch — a scanner that combined several receipts into one PDF; split into one file each.
- Reorder chapters — move an appendix or cover page to where it belongs.
- Remove a page before sharing — take out a page with personal details.
Notes and limits
- Scanned PDFs are just images of pages; rotating fixes the display orientation but doesn’t OCR the text.
- Rotation is applied on top of any rotation already stored in the page, so a page that was already rotated 90° and gets another 90° will display at 180°.
- Very large PDFs (hundreds of high-resolution scans) take a while to render thumbnails — the page-count line shows progress.
- Password-protected PDFs that require a password to open can’t be processed; remove the password first.

Frequently asked questions
How do I extract specific pages?
Open the "Split / extract" tab and type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 7, 10-. Click "Extract to one PDF" and you'll get a new file with just those pages, in that order.
Can I split a PDF into separate files for every page?
Yes — "Split every page into its own PDF" downloads one file per page, named with the page number. Your browser may ask permission to download multiple files the first time.
Is the original file changed?
Never. The tool reads your file and writes a new one; the original on your disk is untouched.
Why does a rotated page look wrong in another viewer?
Rotation is saved the standard way (the page's rotation attribute), which every mainstream viewer honours. If a very old viewer ignores it, re-save the file from Adobe Reader or Preview.
