Privacy Policy

1. The tools

All tools on Utilgrove run inside your web browser. The numbers, text or files you enter are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We have no ability to see them. Some tools may save your last inputs in your browser's local storage so they're there when you come back; this data stays on your device and you can clear it through your browser settings.

2. Information we collect automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — to keep the service secure and available. We may use privacy-focused analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics and/or Google Analytics 4) to understand which tools are used and how well pages perform. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

3. Advertising

Utilgrove is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance and show ads relevant to you.

4. Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states)

Visitors from US states with privacy laws (such as California) can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising through the same control.

5. Cookies

We set one first-party item in local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. Advertising and analytics cookies are set by the third parties described above and are governed by their policies.

6. Children

This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we don't hold personal data about visitors beyond aggregated analytics and server logs, most requests can be handled through the opt-out links above.
